From April 8th to the 11th, the American Society of International Law will hold its 109th annual meeting. Starting from tomorrow, our publications will be available in our ephemerial French bookshop !
L’American Society of International Law nous donne l’occasion de présenter aux juristes internationalistes nos nouvelles publications francophones, tels les ouvrages « Du droit international au cinéma » d’Olivier Corten et de François Dubuisson, et « Le Traité sur le commerce des armes » de Loïc Simonet.
The American Society of Inernational law give us the opportunity to bring to the American audience our new publications, such as Olivier Corten and François Dubuisson’s last book, « Du droit International au cinéma » and Loïc Simonet’s « Le Traité sur le commerce des armes ».
Par notre présence à l’ American Society of International Law les publications francophones jouent un rôle important dans le domaine du droit international. En témoignent la nouvelle collection des « Grandes pages du droit international », de l’Institut des hautes études internationales sous la direction de Carlo Santulli, et la collection « Doctrine » d’Emmanuel Jouannet ainsi que la publication du colloque « La prévention des violations des droits de l’Homme », sous la direction d’Emmanuel Decaux et Sébastien Touzé.
Being at the American Sociery of American Law helps proving that french-speaking publications hold an important role when it comes to International law. The new « Grandes Pages du Droit International » collection, from the Institut des Hautes Affaires internationales with Carlo Santulli direction, and the colection « Doctrine » edited by Emmanuel Tourme-Jouannet, and the publication on the seminar « La prévention des violations des droits de l’Homme » are good illustrations of this.
La 109 ème rencontre de l’American Society of International Law a pour thème « Adapting to a rapidly changing world ». Les auteurs questionnent les évolutions du droit international en relation avec celle du monde contemporain, par exemple à travers la journée d’études « Les 70 ans des Nations Unies : quel rôle dans le monde actuel ? », ou l’ouvrage d’Hélène de Pooter « Le droit international face aux pandémies : vers un système de sécurité collective ? ».
